Megadecks curved tivoli stairs made a stunning appearance at the NBL’s night of nights, the 2020 Andrew Gaze MVP awards held at the Crown Palladium Ballroom in Melbourne. The prestigious, black tie event is held to celebrate and recognise the basketball season and its stars. A who’s who of the basketball world and some of Australia’s best entertainers attended the star studded gala night. The event awards the winners of ten different player categories, culminating in the recognition and award presentation of the Most Valuable Player.Throughout the basketball season, the coaching staff of the teams cast votes for the best performing players in each game. At the end of the season the votes are collated and the player with the most votes is named MVP.
The Challenge
Megadeck was approached to provide stair access to the stage for the awards. It was to be installed to blend perfectly with the existing staging at the venue and provide safe and functional stage access for the many stars attending the event.
