One of Sydney’s most renowned restaurants has introduced significant updates, unveiling the city’s only revolving event venue, The Dress Circle. Situated 47 floors above the bustling streets of Sydney, this venue is nestled within the famous O Bar and Dining, offering stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the city, Sydney Harbour, and beyond.
The Dress Circle is a versatile event space available for both private and semi-private functions, accommodating up to 110 guests for seated events or 150 for standing receptions. It also includes an adjoining private lounge bar, ideal for welcome drinks or smaller gatherings of up to 40 guests.
According to O Bar and Dining’s events director, Erin Rice, the creation of this space was driven by rising customer demand and the need to address “a clear gap in the market.”
“Our clients were looking for a fine-dining experience that could cater to larger groups without compromising on quality, attention to detail, or care,” she explained. “This inspired us to develop The Dress Circle.”
Designed by owner and chef Michael Moore, the venue exudes luxury, featuring rich velvet textures, plush seating, and elegant golden accents. The floor-to-ceiling windows ensure every guest enjoys the spectacular view as the venue completes a gentle 360-degree rotation every 90 minutes.
The menu reflects a modern approach to fine dining, inspired by Moore’s commitment to healthy eating.
“Every aspect of this space has been crafted with immense love, care, and thoughtfulness,” says Rice. “We aimed to create a luxurious, exclusive, and adaptable venue that can be tailored to meet our clients’ needs.”
The Dress Circle is already attracting attention for corporate dinners, product launches, and breakfast conferences.
“With Sydney’s CBD coming back to life, we’re seeing a significant return of corporate clients booking The Dress Circle for Christmas parties and team events, alongside a surge in weddings and social bookings,” Rice added.
