Founded in 1816, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is Australia’s oldest botanic garden and the country’s longest continuously operating scientific institution which has now introduced two fresh event spaces, enhancing its offerings for corporate events, conferences, meetings, workshops, and team-building activities.
These new venues – The Garden Gallery and Gadi Seminar Rooms, both situated in the Robert Brown Building – blend historical charm, artistic elements, and natural surroundings, featuring abundant natural light.
Event planners can also incorporate a garden tour or an outdoor breakout session to make the most of the scenic environment.
“The addition of The Garden Gallery and Gadi Seminar Rooms to Sydney’s event venues responds to the growing need for spaces that encourage wellbeing and collaborative efforts,” said Holly McDougall, venue sales manager at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.
“These new spaces provide an immersive experience where the elegance of the gardens is paired with cutting-edge facilities. Our goal is to inspire creativity and innovation by merging natural light, greenery, and art in our environment.”
Laissez-faire Catering, already serving as the food and beverage provider at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, will extend its services to these new spaces.
“With these additions, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney now covers a wide spectrum of event spaces,” noted Sara Flaksbard, general manager of Laissez-faire Catering.
“We can accommodate large dinners and cocktail receptions at The Calyx and offer exceptional catering for smaller meetings and gatherings in these wonderful new spaces.
