When it comes to public displays, high visual impact and safety are the two most important factors and the launch of Foxtel’s Lifestyle Channels flagship program ‘Selling Homes’ hit the mark on both counts.
The brief was to design and build a giant 6m tall Snow Globe on a plinth, complete with falling snow effects for a one day activation. This eye catching display required a prominent location to capture the foot traffic and interest of passers-by which Sydney’s Customs House was ideal for. Megadeck Staging Australia assisted Big Kahua Imagineering by reinforcing the structure with heavy duty bracing which guaranteed a safe and reliable display platform for semi-permanent use.
Lifestyles vision included that during the activation the public would get to go inside the Giant Snow Globe for photo opportunities meaning that safety and sturdiness of the structure was paramount to Megadecks brief. In addition, a Christmas network promo would be shot throughout the day and night using talent across all the shows on the LifeStyle Channel.
Foxtel’s LifeStyle Channel is home to some of the best lifestyle and reality shows from Australia and across the globe, LifeStyle offers a variety of cooking, property, renovation and travel content such as The Great British Bake Off, Grand Designs, Property Brothers, Gogglebox, MasterChef, A Place in the Sun, Escape to the Chateau and more. You’ll also find some of the best shows from world-renowned celebrity cooks like Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Mary Berry, Nigella Lawson and Rachel Koo.
You can stream live and ad-free On Demand content on LifeStyle through Hubbl, Hubbl Glass or compatible web browsers.
