Returning for its ninth year, Events Uncovered presented by Spice will feature a Showcase and Knowledge Sessions led by industry innovators and thought leaders. This single-day event held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, is essential for professionals in the Australian events sector seeking the latest trends, suppliers, and venues.
The day will begin with a keynote session by Kieran Flanagan and Dan Gregory, co-founders of The Behaviour Report, who will present “Let us edu-tain you,” powered by Inspire Speakers. They will share insights and trends to boost creativity, connection, and courage in the events industry. Kieran and Dan have extensive experience working with the UN, multinational tech companies, and academic institutions. Their engaging and informative presentations have earned them recognition as top keynote speakers.
Other Speakers include Janene Wardrop, Chris Schlueter, Paul Hutton, Shelly McElroy, Luke Flemming, Martine Beaumont, Manisha Amin, Domenic Genua, Anthony Bastic, Cesar Ramirez, Steffanie D’Alberto, and Anna Sheppard, who will also serve as the event’s MC. Upstairs, in the Harbourside Room and Quayside Room, the Spice Knowledge Sessions will cover topics such as event planner burnout, innovation trends, sustainability, crisis management, sensory experiences, marketing, budget-friendly event hosting, and more.
After a full day of informative speakers, educational sessions, a free exhibitor Showcase, and networking, attendees can unwind at Uncovered After Dark. From 6pm to 8pm, this evening event at MCA Australia will offer cocktails, fantastic food, great music, and a fun atmosphere with stunning views of Sydney Harbour.
