Based in Botany, NSW with branches in Melbourne and Gold Coast, our business is expanding to meet demand we now require a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our thriving team.

The Role

  • Located in Botany, Sydney
  • Full-time, Permanent role
  • Above award wage (skill/experience dependant)
  • 8am – 4pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Full training provided

Core Competences and Responsibilities:

  • To manage all aspects of the Warehouse Department, including, but not limited to, inventory management, crew planning, handling warehouse logistics and working with account managers to execute our jobs.
  • Managing and overseeing all major projects and working with other departments to deliver those requirements.
  • Ensuring all warehouse tasks are completed in an efficient and effective manner
  • Ensuring all installations and collections are completed on time and finished to an excellent standard.
  • Ensuring all hire equipment is maintained to an excellent standard.
  • To work and communicate closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • To partake in the strategic planning of the company’s operations and growth
  • Complying and operating to and within the company’s policies and WHS requirements.

Key Job Activities:

  • Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager (OPS)
  • Organising all rental jobs in and out.
  • Ensure all equipment on the Staff Printout (SP) is correctly picked, scanned and partially checked out once fully picked and fully scanned out in Rental Point (RP) before booking leave the warehouse.
  • To ensure all returns are marked off and checked back into our inventory system
  • Scheduling daily and/or weekly tasks with the warehouse team.
  • Liaising with carpentry and fabrication managers about completion of purchase orders/customs for upcoming jobs.
  • Approving warehouse team members timesheets every Thursday morning for payroll
  • Performance monitoring of warehouse staff for performance appraisals.
  • Quality checks to be made prior to jobs leaving the warehouse.
  • To assemble/dismantle and team lead all your allocated projects on site when required
  • Warehouse asset and stock control.
  • Booking in transfers of shortages and sales with freight companies.
  • Keeping the Warehouse department, organised, free of hazards and tidy.
  • Intermediate/advanced training and mentoring of warehouse team members.

Key Skills

  • A sound knowledge of work place safety and relevant Australian Standards & Codes.
  • An excellent communicator
  • Ability to be able to delegate responsibility to others with positive results and have followed your directives in a competent manner.
  • Add significant value to peers by acting as a coach/mentor.
  • An experience knowledge of the building of Megadeck staging systems and a good knowledge of the full range of Megadeck equipment, where and when specific items should be used.
  • Good computer skills.
  • High attention to detail and processes.
  • Problem solving.
  • Resourcefulness.
  • Understanding and use of equipment and tools involved in the construction of stages and the like.
  • Forklift License required.
  • A strategic mind that looks for process improvements where possible
