A grand opening requires a suitably grand performance and the recent opening of the new Myer store in Warringah Mall was a case in point.

Set in the open air space of the ground level, the light poured in on a beautiful day and provided a warm and sunny morning to enjoy the entertainment.

With so much to showcase, a diverse range of elements were required to demonstrate the broad shopping experience available to customers. This included the face of the Myer brand with no other than Jennifer Hawkins leading the fashion charge and cutting the ribbon on the stores opening. Homewares and cooking were highlighted with live cooking demonstrations. There was of course something for the kids including face painting and a live stage show by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The brief Megadeck received for the event was to provide a sleek and sophisticated stage that could match the company’s colour scheme and look as every bit as brand new and pristine as the location itself. With mint opal acrylic stages and circular podiums, the staging was used in an assortment of configurations to accommodate the different performances and performance schedules.

The modular design of Megadeck staging ensures that the staging can be left in a fixed position for any length of time but just as easily removed, reassembled and reconfigured so as to meet the requirements and time frames of each unique performance.

When it comes to capturing the attention of shoppers and understanding the consumer experience, Megadeck knows that to create a seamless event an attention to detail is what it takes to pull off a flawless opening. Our crew is available to install and dismantle staging around the clock and can provide peace of mind when coordinating an event with multiple suppliers.
